All proceeds from the golf outing benefit the Robert "Rob" Abbinett Nursing Scholarship at Indiana State University.
Rob Abbinett led by example and served his community, and country his entire life. He was a police officer, nurse, and veteran. He served 34 years in the military, retiring as lieutenant colonel and commander of CBNRE Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP). His nursing career was his passion and he dedicated 26 years to providing exceptional medical care in Indiana and beyond. His work began in oncology and he advanced to an ER nurse, a flight nurse, and IU Lifeline Regional Manager.
